Member’s Lounge Attendant

Reports to: Concessions Manager
Status: Part-Time, Seasonal (3/10/2026 - 10/31/2026)
Hourly Rate: $21.22
Location: Ashland, OR

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is seeking a Member’s Lounge Attendant to oversee concessions operations within our Member’s Lounge. This role supports OSF Members by providing food and beverage service, maintaining lounge operations, and serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for Festival events and programs.

This position is a union member of IATSE Local 154.

Member’s Lounge Attendants play an important role in supporting the Member experience while ensuring compliance with all service policies and procedures.

The Role You’ll Play

As a Member’s Lounge Attendant, you will manage lounge bar operations, assist Members with questions about OSF programming, and help maintain a welcoming and well‑organized space. You will coordinate closely with Development and Concessions teams to ensure Members receive accurate information and professional service throughout their visit.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up and break down the Member’s Lounge bar.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Maintain compliance with all alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Maintain valid OLCC license and Food Handler’s Card
    .
  • Stay informed about all productions, events, and programs happening on campus.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing glassware and wiping tables.
  • Manage downtime productively and maintain operational readiness.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Have experience handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Members and colleagues.
  • Have knowledge of beer and wine service.
  • Can maintain awareness of multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Are available Tuesday through Sunday between 11:00am and 8:30pm.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in theatre or experience working in a theatre environment.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 51 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Availability Tuesday–Sunday, 11:00am–8:30pm.
Organizational Background

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) was founded in 1935 in Ashland, OR, and has grown from a three‑day festival of two plays to a nationally renowned theatre arts organization that presents a rotating repertory season of up to 10 plays and musicians, including illuminating interpretations of Shakespeare, other enduring classics, and new works. OSF productions have been presented on Broadway, internationally, and at regional, community, and high school theatres across the country.

OSF received the 1983 Special Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre and is one of the largest nonprofit theatres in the nation with three stages, including an outdoor Allen Elizabethan Theatre.
