Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.6 | Part Time | Variable Hours/Variable Days

Salary Range: $23.28 and up, depending on relative experience

Shift Differentials:

• $1.44 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.55 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.27 extra for working weekends

The Emergency Services (ES) Tech for Asante assists in providing care to patients in the Emergency Department or Immediate Care under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA, or MD, working as a team member & helping to promote the functioning of Emergency Services.

Experience

• Previous work or training in the medical field is required
• 1 or more years of experience in an emergency department or 911 setting is preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS:
  Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS:
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• PALS:
  Pediatric Life Support
• EMT-P:
  Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic, certified by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians or by the State of Oregon - OR- EMT-I:
  Emergency Medical Technician
  - Intermediate, certified by the OHA (Oregon Health Authority) - OR- equivalent

Preferred Certifications

• BLS Instructor:
  Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor
• ACLS Instructor:
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor
• PALS Instructor:
  Pediatric Life Support Instructor
