Operator Certification Pay Incentive Program Available To All Eligible Staff

The City of Peoria’s Water Department seeks a Utility Plant Operator II for the Greenway Water Treatment Plant. The role involves monitoring, operating, and performing basic preventive maintenance on treatment plants and remote site equipment. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, identifying issues on processes and equipment, and completing related tasks as assigned. The position also covers rotational shifts to fill in for other Operator II staff as needed.

• Rotational shifts: 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift
• Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The position supports coverage for other Plant Operator II's time off.
