Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider

Seeking an Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider --Prepares and records patient's history, performs physical examinations and formulates treatment plans for patients. Participates in management of patient's care, both in- and out-patient, by facilitating, expediting and coordination of routine diagnostic procedures, writing orders for appropriate medical care and determining need for consultation. Takes call with physician. Assists surgeon in the operating room. Assists the entire team with additional duties throughout the office as necessary.

Triages patient calls and calls patients back in conjunction with physician. Contacts all patients postoperatively as required for follow-up. Competitive Pay:

Required:

- 3 years endocrinology experience
- Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the American Medical Association
- Board Certification
- Advance Care Nurse Practitioner Certification - BLS:
Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
