The Admissions Processing Specialist will play an integral role within the administrative team at Hanover County Public Schools. The individual in this position will perform a variety of office duties and coordinate with various stakeholders to aid in the efficient flow of admissions-related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with schools and families during the admissions process, providing information and answering inquiries.
- Process all admission applications in an efficient and accurate manner, providing timely progress updates to stakeholders.
- Develop, sort, and maintain the organization’s admissions databases ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Contribute to the implementation and revision of admissions procedures, in accordance with changes in regulations or school policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as parents, applicants, and school representatives to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Prepare comprehensive statistical reports related to student admissions for senior management upon request.
- Provide assistance in organizing school admission meetings and events, as needed.
- A High School Diploma or comparable work experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in an administrative role or an educational institution is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organization in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Proficiency in computer and database management.
