Role Overview
Your job will be to review, analyze, process, and document parts requests. You will handle customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure accurate parts delivery according to company standards in a heavy call-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities- Order Processing:
Process customer Purchase Orders (POs), manage returns paperwork, and Issue credits/debits. - Parts Research:
Research inquiries for replacement, foreign, obsolete, inactive, and external vendor parts. - Customer Support:
Resolve customer inquiries via phone and email while handling a high volume of calls. - Quoting & Invoicing:
Provide prompt and accurate material quotes to internal and external customers. - Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve order discrepancies quickly. - Special Projects:
Lead special assignments and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. - Experience:
2+ years of customer service experience in a heavy call volume environment. - Software
Skills:
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and heavy Outlook. - Technical
Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend technical drawings and specifications. - Communication:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Traits:
Strong organization skills and high attention to detail.
