We're looking for a Full-Time Floating Teacher who is versatile, dependable, and genuinely loves the full spectrum of early childhood education.

8 hours/day | Monday–Friday | No nights. No weekends.

• You'll work in a supportive environment where leadership is present and engaged

Some days you'll step in as the lead—running activities, managing the rhythm of the room, and being the primary teacher children look to. Other days you'll work alongside a lead teacher, adding depth and support where it's needed most. The age group changes. The classroom changes. Your professionalism and care don't.

• Serve as a skilled, reliable presence across all classrooms (infants through after-school age)
• Step into any room— as lead or support— and maintain Goddard's standards for safety, nurturing, and engagement
• Build trusting relationships with children and families school-wide
• Collaborate with classroom teams and communicate professionally with staff and leadership

• Have hands‑on experience across multiple early childhood age groups (infant through pre‑K strongly preferred)
• Are adaptable, emotionally steady, and genuinely energized by variety

• Meet Virginia state licensing and background check requirements
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
