Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Controller
to lead our accounting and financial operations. This roleis responsible formanaging the day-to-day accounting function, producingaccuratefinancial reporting, improving internal controls, and partnering with company leadership to support strategic decision-making.

This is a key leadership position in a growing HVAC and plumbing company, ideal for a detail-oriented financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment.

• Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop andmaintainaccuratecash flow projections
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax preparation and annual review
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior accounting role
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service-based industries strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
