The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse inventory and staff.

Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training new employees.
  • Oversee warehouse staff.
  • Pick product and orders according to route summaries.
  • Create BOLs for outbound transfers.
  • Palletize product after picking, secure it and load it onto trucks.
  • Ensure that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.
  • Train and manage second shift warehouse employees, following standard operating procedures and safety policies.
  • Resolve routine equipment issues.
  • Conduct safety training.
  • Complete required reports (weekly, biweekly, monthly).
  • Lead scheduled meetings with staff and conduct quarterly meetings with direct employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
- QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least twelvemonths of experience in distribution is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • Experienced in safely operating forklifts, order picker, reach truck, and pallet jack equipment.
  • Familiarity with use of RF scan guns for picking orders.
  • Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to be on feetfor the entire shift with constant lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, etc. for 8+ hours at a time.
  • Lift and move at least 75 pounds without assistance, up to 130 pounds with help
  • Pick, pack, and stack 100-1000 boxes daily
  • Engage in climbing, sitting, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, overhead lifting, and stair climbing
  • Operate and climb into forklifts
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Safety footwear, such as steel toe or composite toe, is mandatory
  • Most work occurs in a warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels
  • Some areas may become dusty if products are stationary
