CNC Manufacturing Programmer & Machinist

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM as needed (56-hour workweek)
Pay:
Starting at $33.00/hour (higher compensation available based on experience)
We are looking for a skilled CNC Manufacturing Programmer & Machinist to join a growing production team specializing in precision‑machined industrial components. This role combines CNC programming, machine setup, and machining responsibilities while maintaining exceptional quality and accuracy standards.
The ideal candidate has strong programming experience, enjoys solving machining challenges, and takes pride in producing high‑quality parts with tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret machining blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Create and modify G‑code programs to support efficient production
- Produce precision components while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inches
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Verify quality and dimensional accuracy throughout the machining process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow established safety procedures while working in a manufacturing facility
- Support production schedules by working required shifts and occasional Saturdays
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
- Experience programming and operating CNC machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machining documentation
- Knowledge of G‑code programming principles
- Experience maintaining close‑tolerance machining standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Experience with one or more of the following CNC control systems:
- Fagor
- Fanuc
- Haas
- Heidenhain
Experience using precision inspection equipment, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Dial bore gauges
