MSI seeks a Warehouse Overhead Crane Operator to safely move and stage heavy materials and components in our Warehouse & Manufacturing department. You will operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and related material-handling equipment to support production of MSI's industry-leading gaming and creation hardware. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, accurately placing inventory, following lift plans, and completing basic equipment inspections. You'll collaborate closely with production and logistics teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, while upholding MSI's strict safety and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move, lift, and position heavy materials and components.
- Perform basic pre-use inspections of cranes, slings, hooks, and related equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and stage materials for production according to schedules.
- Secure loads using proper rigging techniques and follow lift plans and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support workflow.
- Maintain accurate placement and flow of inventory within warehouse and manufacturing areas.
- Follow MSI and OSHA safety standards, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping.
- Report equipment issues, near-misses, and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as material wrapping, labeling, and organizing.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
