Cylinder Maintenance Technician

ARC3 Gases Inc seeks a Cylinder Maintenance Technician for our Technical & Maintenance team in the Chemicals industry. You will inspect, clean, repair, and test industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include valve replacement, leak detection, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and accurate recordkeeping. Working in a safety-focused, family-owned environment, you'll support local industries while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge gas technologies and equipment, with opportunities for long-term growth in technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and prepare cylinders for filling and service
• Perform basic repairs, including valve replacement and leak correction
• Conduct pressure and safety tests to meet regulatory and company standards
• Document maintenance, test results, and cylinder status accurately
• Follow all safety, PPE, and OSHA/industry compliance procedures
• Operate material-handling equipment to move and stage cylinders
• Identify damaged or non-compliant cylinders and remove from service
• Coordinate with plant and delivery teams to meet production needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance and safety practices
