Laboratory Technician

Job Title:

Laboratory Analyst

Location:

Ashland, VA - Onsite

Compensation: $22-$30 an hour (commensurate with experience)

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

+ Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices and programs

+ Prepares samples using standard techniques

+ Performs chemical analysis using standard techniques

+ Calculates data

+ Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor

+ Performs routine instrument maintenance

Requirements

+ Bachelor's required - chemistry preferred

+ Industry experience with metals, ICP, GC, or other instrumentation, or research projects/internships involving metals/GC/instrumentation

+ 1-3 years of experience
