Unique Ashland-area Thrift Store seeks a mature, energetic, and dependable associate to coordinate and support day-to-day store and retail operations (2-3 shifts per week). This is a customer-facing position, so you should enjoy working with the public and have a pleasant and engaging personality. The ideal applicant would have previous experience working in an upscale thrift store or antique store environment.

The candidate must be energetic, well-spoken, and communicative. This is a physically active position. There is always a lot to do, so someone who is socially engaging and likes to stay busy while helping others would be ideal.

Our fast-paced shop supports local area charities through its sales efforts, and we have a steady number of both new and wonderfully loyal repeat customers.

This position requires someone in good physical condition. You should be comfortable helping to move furniture items around in the shop as well as loading pieces of furniture (with assistance) into customers' vehicles. Store hours are Tues-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm. Interest in, and knowledge of vintage furniture, antiques, and various household items is required. You should also feel comfortable running a cash register (Square), answering phone inquiries, working seamlessly with a small team of associates, and helping with routine store maintenance and upkeep.
