Job Description: H&E Rentals is seeking a Shop Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various heavy equipment. Training is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance on diesel engines, including fuel systems and emissions.
• Implement preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-7 years of relevant experience.
• Factory, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus.
• Experience with heavy equipment like excavators, forklifts, and compactors.
