Title: Auxiliary Technician

Reports to: General Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Ashland, VA

In the role of Auxiliary Technician, you will play a pivotal role by assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors, rolling doors, dock equipment, and related systems. Prior experience is preferred but not required, as we provide thorough on-the-job training.

• Assist with the installation of garage door products per manufacturer specifications.
• Gather and prepare materials needed for install and service jobs.
• Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have an accepted MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable & reliable transportation to and from your base office location.

• Experience in garage door service/install or similar skilled trade.
• Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical.
• Mechanical inclination

• Non-climate-controlled environment – will be working in all weather conditions.
• Frequently walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
