Position Overview

Class B CDL Truck Driver – Ashland, VA.

• Hourly Pay: $25.25 per hour
• Hours per week: 40–45
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday; start time varies
• Week‑to‑week pay
• Route:
  Home daily, surrounding areas
• Truck type:
  Straight truck (36‑month or newer)
• Equipment: pallet jack, stair‑walkers, forklifts
• Freight: touch‑on medical supplies
• TWIC card preferred; reimbursement available
• Weekly roadside maintenance and fuel support at 800+ facilities nationwide

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the last 5 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
