Position SummaryJRP is seeking a safety‑focused Tank Delivery Driver (CDL with Hazmat endorsement) to safely transport and deliver petroleum products to customer locations. This role is responsible for operating commercial tank vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and hazardous materials requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and committed to safe driving practices, accurate documentation, and professional customer service in a fast‑paced transportation environment.

Competitive hourly pay: $28–$30/hr. based on experience
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a CDL flatbed truck equipped with a knuckle boom or articulating crane to transport and deliver tanks and related equipment to customer locations.
- Coordinate and execute customer tank deliveries, including loading, unloading, positioning, and securing equipment using approved crane operating procedures.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, crane, and delivery equipment to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance.
- Perform basic service, maintenance, and repairs on customer fueling equipment, and identify mechanical issues requiring additional service.
- Install, configure, and service tank monitoring systems (Smar Tank) and related equipment.
- Complete delivery documentation, inspection reports, trip logs, and other required records accurately and on time.
- Provide professional customer service while safely operating in accordance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to delivery issues, equipment malfunctions, and emergency situations while following established safety protocols.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safe operating practices.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math, complete required documentation, and interpret maps, road signs, and delivery information.
- Working knowledge of commercial vehicle safety systems and DOT regulations, including hours of service, inspections, and maintenance requirements.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including irregular shifts and around‑the‑clock operations as needed.

- Must successfully pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screenings and participate in random testing as required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and remain alert for periods of up to 11 hours.
- Ability to operate vehicle controls, including manual transmission (if required) and foot pedals.
- Ability to frequently enter and exit the truck cab using steps and handholds, and perform occasional bending, climbing, squatting, balancing, and reaching.
- Ability to climb ladders and access equipment compartments as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces, including gravel, concrete, metal, and uneven terrain.
- Ability to open and close cargo doors, inspect equipment, fuel vehicles, and check fluid levels.
- Ability to maneuver fuel hoses and related equipment in a variety of customer and terminal environments.
- Work is performed both outdoors and in a truck cab, with approximately 50% of time spent in each environment.
- Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, noise, vibration, and outdoor elements.
- May be subject to irregular schedules, tight delivery timelines, long workdays, traffic delays, and changing operational demands.
- Requires operating a commercial motor vehicle on public roadways in varying traffic and weather conditions.
