Warehouse Associate; 1st Shift

Brame is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and ship supplies and materials accurately and quickly, offering $17–$18 per hour plus benefits.

• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using hand truck, forklift, reach truck, stock picker, electric pallet jack, or pallet jack
• Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures
• Picks, packs, and ships products
• Process all packages for shipping and process returned merchandise
• Conduct physical inventory counts
• Check product against receiving paperwork (e.g., cross‑check PO against packing list)
• Label inventory as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

• One to two years of related experience
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
• Experience using a handheld RF scan gun and basic computer skills
• Prior experience with sit‑down forklift, reach truck, and stock picker
• Completion of forklift training class (sit‑down forklift, reach truck, stock picker)
• Valid driver's license
• Basic math and writing skills; excellent reading comprehension
• Problem‑solving ability and positive, professional attitude
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Good oral communication and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Capacity to lift and move a minimum of 75 pounds; lift up to 130 pounds with assistance as needed
• Fit for activities such as climbing, sitting, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, overhead lifting, and standing for long periods
• Willingness to wear appropriate safety equipment
• Experience in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Pass company background screening, motor vehicle report, and drug testing requirements
