Material Handler – 1st Shift (Warehouse / Mail Operations)

Ashland, VA | $16.50/hour | Monday–Friday | Full-Time

You'll play a key role sorting and moving mail/packages in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and reliability matter. • Strong focus on safety and following procedures
• Ability to understand and follow operational instructions in English or translated from English (regardless of native language)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team-oriented and ready to work together to hit daily goals

• Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or material handling
• Familiarity with small package processing and conveyor systems

• No specific education requirement listed
• Warehouse/logistics experience is a plus, but not required—reliable workers encouraged to apply

Schedule (1st Shift):

• Monday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM Hours may vary slightly based on daily and nightly mail volume.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 5 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Stand/walk/bend/stoop up to 80% of the workday (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment
