Warehouse Associate

Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Ashland, Virginia

Employment Type: On-site

Status: Full-time

Salary Range: $18 to $20/hour

We are looking for someone motivated, reliable, and hardworking to join our team. The main responsibilities of this role include loading/unloading shipments, organizing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, making weekly deliveries, maintaining an inventory of stock, and filling orders.

• Stage, load, and unload materials
• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing them with manifests or packing lists
• Weekly deliveries
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems, such as damage or shortages
• Observe and follow all safety standards and processes
• Propose process improvements; implement methods that improve efficiency/effectiveness and reduce costs

• Demonstrate overall knowledge of warehouse/assembly/and repair procedures
• Ability to meet deadlines and use organizational and time management skills effectively
• Prior warehouse/assembly/repair experience
• Forklift certified
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
