Agriculture and Technology Education Instructor

FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position)

To teach a contemporary technology and pre‑engineering middle school program. Areas of instruction include: pre‑engineering, manufactuting, construction, and problem solving. There is an expectation to integrate core academics into instruction. Applicant should have the strong desire to work with middle level school students.

• Wisconsin Certification #1220 - Technology Education equivalent.
• Familiarity with and working knowledge of Wisconsin State Standards.
• Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the academic needs of all students assigned.
• Ability to forge positive relationships with the students and parents / guardians of students.
• Effective student‑centered approach to classroom management.
• Ability to work collegially with grade level staff, student services, administration, the faculty, and the community as needed.
• Experience in curriculum writing and unit development.
• Ability to facilitate student / parent / teacher meetings as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
