STEM​/STEAM Teacher

• Location: Ashland Middle School (Location subject to change at the discretion of the district and student needs.)
• Date Available:  SY

FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position)

Build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ashland community. Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handle confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.

• Candidates should possess a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification #1088, #1220, #1400, #1405, #1601, #1606, #1615, #1634, #1777, #2088, #2600 or other appropriate licensure. (preferred)
• Bachelors Degree (mandatory)
• Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.
• Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.
• Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
• This job allows the candidate to design their courses around what they are passionate about.
