Hiring Incentive Eligible! Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center (NWCC) of Memorial Medical Center, in collaboration with Essentia Health, offers comprehensive cancer care including the very latest treatments and technology. It provides Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology treatments in Ashland, WI, with a focus on a comfortable patient experience. The radiation oncology department houses a state-of-the-art Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator and a 4D-capable CT scanner, enabling advanced techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and motion management.

• Performs a variety of technical procedures involving the use of high-energy radiation producing equipment.
• Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatments to patients of all ages as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provides daily patient contact for monitoring the effects of radiation.

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved radiation therapist program.

  Ability to be ARRT certified within 90 days OR ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. If hired after 1989, must be certified by the ARRT, registered in Radiation Therapy. Valid state credentialing, if applicable. Current CPR certification.
