TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Ashland, Wisconsin.

We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Ashland, WI. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate and treat patients in a variety of clinical areas according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze the sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for the patient being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.

Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods of time. They should also be able to lift 20 pounds easily, and may need to lift up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NRP may be required for some assignments.
• NBRC certification and 5 years of experience may also be required.
• Additional certifications may need to be obtained before the assignment begins.

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
