Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Day/Evening Ashland Health Services Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing care for residents and patients in a full‑time day/evening shift. Compensation up to $35.50 per hour. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

• Provide nursing care as a licensed caregiver, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the care plan for assigned residents and patients.
• Adhere to the standards of care, maintain a safe environment and supervise nursing assistant activities.
• Follow all Center policies, procedures and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for residents and patients during shifts under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing.

• Licensed in the state as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient with supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Ability to calculate drug dosage.
• Meets all health requirements imposed by law.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding proficiency; basic computer literacy.
