This Field Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing underground telecommunications construction projects including trenching, directional boring, conduit placement, cable installation, restoration, and utility coordination activities. The role supervises field crews and subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements.

Supervise underground construction crews and subcontractors
Coordinate trenching, directional drilling, conduit installation, and cable placement activities
Ensure compliance with utility locate requirements and customer standards
Coordinate schedules, permits, and project deliverables
Review production reports, as-builts, and billing documentation
Identify and resolve underground construction challenges
Conduct quality inspections and field audits
Maintain safety compliance and production targets
What you’ll need5+ years of underground telecommunications construction experience
Experience with directional drilling, trenching, and conduit systems
Strong understanding of utility locate processes and restoration requirements
Ability to read construction prints and project documentation
Leadership and crew management experience preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
Occasionally: use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard, and mouse
