Salary:
Part-time as scheduled (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) $15.00 / Hour (Classified)
The Activity Leader is responsible for supporting the Site Coordinator in the development and implementation of the after-school and summer enrichment programs and services. This position assists the Site Coordinator during day-to-day operations by conducting program activities and providing assistance to students as needed.
Required Qualifications- Successful completion of BCII/FBI background checks
- Ability to work flexible hours (e.g., evenings and weekends)
- Assists Site Coordinator to secure necessary resources for unique and engaging enrichment opportunities.
- Attends necessary training and professional development surrounding the program.
- Assists Site Coordinator in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for grant reporting.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with students, families, school personnel, and other individuals or organizations involved in the program.
- Follows the evaluation plan and follows the timeline and tasks as outlined.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational and independent working skills.
- Proficient to advanced computer skill level. Knowledge of or ability to master utilization of all necessary computer programs (including MS Office applications, Google Suite, and Internet research).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for community education and commitment to youth development and services.
