Step into a high-impact Maintenance & Reliability Engineer opportunity with a confidential client, where you will help drive meaningful results across Chemical.

This role offers the chance to make a visible contribution in Ashtabula, Ohio, USA while supporting ambitious technical and operational goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance for maintenance activities to drive plant reliability.

• Analyze equipment performance data, identify bad actors, and implement corrective actions.

• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) and mechanical integrity programs.

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and reliability improvement initiatives.

• Track key performance indicators such as Mean Time Between Repair (MT ).

• Manage and promote compliance with ISO 9000 and the company's 20 Principles Safety Program.

• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Incident Investigations, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews.

What You Bring to the Role

Skills and

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 7 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of process equipment, including pumps, compressors, piping, vessels, exchangers, and relief valves.

Experience with reliability methodologies, mechanical integrity programs, and maintenance best practices.

Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues and implement cost-effective solutions.

Preferred experience with SAP and other maintenance management systems.
