You will oversee power distribution systems across two production facilities and an on-site air separation unit, ensuring substations, switch gear, motor control centers, and transformers operate at peak reliability. Your investigations into electrical failures will prevent costly downtime and enhance safety in a PSM-regulated setting. By strengthening the Electrical Mechanical Integrity program and mentoring maintenance teams, you will directly contribute to the site's long-term asset health and operational stability.
The plant needs a hands-on, self-starting electrical engineer who can walk the floor, diagnose motor and drive issues, and drive root cause solutions without waiting for direction. You should be comfortable navigating NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards while collaborating across maintenance, operations, and engineering. Your background in heavy industrial or chemical environments has given you the practical judgment to prioritize reliability improvements and the communication skills to align diverse stakeholders around a common goal.

Non-Negotiables- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- You must have at least seven years of electrical engineering experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial manufacturing setting
- Deep expertise with electrical power distribution systems, including motor control centers, switch gear, substations, and transformers, is essential
- You will need demonstrated experience leading root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations for electrical failures
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical standards is non-negotiable
- Hands-on ability to troubleshoot motors, variable frequency drives, and power system disturbances during plant upsets is expected
- This role offers a competitive annual salary between $125,000 and $150,000 with a 20% bonus target

- Partner with maintenance and operations to enhance precision maintenance practices and equipment reliability
- Experience with SKM Power Tools for electrical system studies is highly preferred
