This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with a small student population currently around 30, with potential growth offering a unique chance to make a significant impact. With a staff-to-student ratio of 1:2 and close collaboration with occupational therapy, you’ll have the support and resources to deliver meaningful, individualized care.
As the onsite SLP, you’ll serve K-12 students across two campuses just minutes apart. Expect an innovative, collaborative setting where most students benefit from comprehensive speech services, and some utilize communication tools like Proloquo2
Go and LAMP.
- Active or eligible for Ohio SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience with pediatric speech therapy, autism spectrum populations, and AAC (Proloquo2
Go, LAMP) - Healthcare, school-based, or teletherapy background a plus
- Ability to bill Medicaid strongly preferred
- Must be available for on-site services
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for a caseload of approximately 2530 students
- Co-treat with OTs and host engaging social/pragmatics groups
- Collaborate with school staff and administration
- IEP and evaluation duties assigned only for those billing Medicaid
- Support students' functional communication and social skills
