Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Ashtabula, OH

This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with a small student population currently around 30, with potential growth offering a unique chance to make a significant impact. With a staff-to-student ratio of 1:2 and close collaboration with occupational therapy, you’ll have the support and resources to deliver meaningful, individualized care.

As the onsite SLP, you’ll serve K-12 students across two campuses just minutes apart. Expect an innovative, collaborative setting where most students benefit from comprehensive speech services, and some utilize communication tools like Proloquo2

• Active or eligible for Ohio SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Experience with pediatric speech therapy, autism spectrum populations, and AAC (Proloquo2
  
  Go, LAMP)
• Healthcare, school-based, or teletherapy background a plus
• Ability to bill Medicaid strongly preferred
• Must be available for on-site services

• Provide direct speech and language therapy for a caseload of approximately 2530 students
• Co-treat with OTs and host engaging social/pragmatics groups
• Collaborate with school staff and administration
• IEP and evaluation duties assigned only for those billing Medicaid
• Support students' functional communication and social skills
