As an Activities Assistant at Meadow Falls of Saybrook, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and stimulating environment for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. From arts and crafts to games and social events, you will work closely with our care team to ensure that our residents stay active, engaged, and fulfilled.

• Plan and implement activities, including arts and crafts, games, social events, and outings
• Work closely with the care team to develop individualized activity plans for each resident
• Engage with residents to understand their interests and preferences, and incorporate these into activity planning
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation
• Collaborate with other departments, such as dining and recreation, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for residents
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new activities and programs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Passion for working with seniors and creating engaging experiences
