Desired

Skills and Experience:

  • Current SLP license (or willingness to obtain OH licensure/ODE credential for out-of-state candidates)
  • SLP-CCC preferred
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech therapy settings
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders; experience using AAC devices such as Proloquo2

    Go and LAMP a plus
  • Ability to bill Medicaid (highly desired)
  • Comfortable with a caseload of 25-30 K-12 students
  • Collaborative, able to co-treat with OT and facilitate social/pragmatic groups
  • Teletherapy skills welcome, but on-site presence required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students with autism
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
  • Participate in social/pragmatic groups and activities
  • Conduct Medicaid billing if able
  • IEPs/evaluations only if Medicaid billing applies
