Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT(R) certification to perform radiology and fluoroscopic exams on patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience required
• ARRT(R) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Ohio license required if applicable
• Must maintain patient safety standards during procedures

Responsibilities

• X-Ray Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend with days off scheduled around the weekend worked
• No call required
• 23-week assignment length
• Performs radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages
• Accepts local candidates
• Facility is 100% tobacco free with no smoking or tobacco use permitted on site
• Nicotine-free requirement applies to all travelers except Nurses and CSTs, who are temporarily exempt
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty are required
• Copies of required certifications must be current and active
• Candidates with open background check cases or license hits will not be accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date
