Position: Clinical I.S. Analyst

Overview

This position provides analytical, clinical, and resource management system support for the organization’s healthcare clinical applications. The role supports hospital managers, nurses, and providers, advising end users on technology to achieve operational efficiencies. The position participates in evaluation, planning, reporting, testing, implementation, and support of the ARMC Healthcare System applications, and serves as the dedicated physician support representative for EMR, providing first‑contact assistance and ARMC physician personalization training.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical workflow analysis, observing end users to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and safety risks, and redesign processes to optimize usability, productivity, and patient care outcomes.
  • Perform Epic EMR configuration, support, and troubleshooting, applying knowledge of the clinical context.
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational stakeholders to resolve issues, support adoption, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in evaluation, planning, reporting, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of the ARMC Healthcare System.
  • Provide dedicated physician and nursing support, acting as a first contact for EMR issues and delivering physician personalization training as needed.
Qualifications
  • Three years of healthcare experience supporting clinical systems.
  • Desired 2‑ or 4‑year degree; clinical training preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and technical expertise in clinical informatics, including proficiency with Epic EMR and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyze workflows, identify gaps, and redesign processes.
  • Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Epic systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across clinical, IT, and operations teams.
  • Physical stamina to travel between hospitals in inclement weather.
  • Mental capacity to multi‑task and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
