2nd Shift Injection Molding Supervisor

Position - 2 nd Shift Supervisor / Injection Molding Plant - 382 E Erie St, Jefferson, OH

Pay is Negotiable…. depends on skills (will look at all pay grades, again depends on skills)

You will have the responsibility of maintaining and improving injection molding and secondary processes that allow us to meet or exceed production efficiencies while providing our customers with quality parts and assure all safety and housekeeping procedures are met.

• Manage a group of about 10-15 employees
• Must have Full knowledge of plastic injection molding industry. Process and trouble shoot injection molding machines, startup/shut down equipment.
• Process improvement find ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Knowledge of resin process temperatures and drying temperatures.
• Trouble shoot machinery in order to produce high quality parts to meet specifications.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding company standards for efficiency and utilization.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes as appropriate to improve cycle times.
• Monitor process and work station information as presented in mold setup sheets and insure accuracy and conformance to company standards.
• Work in conjunction with the Quality Department to improve process control.
• Trouble-shoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.
• Ensure injection molding machines and supporting automated systems.
• Assure scrap issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner.
• Assure housekeeping standards are met.
• Set molds.

• Monday to Saturday - Supervisor is to be here at least 3 0 minutes before start of shift (shift starts at 2:45 pm) and expected to stay as long as needed aftert the end of shift (shift ends at 11pm)
  Must be able to work Saturdays, we are currently working every Saturday

• plastic injection molding: 3+ year (Required)
