Responsibilities
  • Perform routine line audits and 24-hour drop area inspections
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Review blueprints and special orders to verify product specifications are met
  • Evaluate finished products prior to shipment and inspect returned goods for acceptance into inventory
  • Develop, maintain, and update inspection and quality control reports
  • Ensure all raw materials and products meet established company quality standards
  • Verify that testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly
  • Document, report, and escalate quality issues or anomalies to the supervisor
  • Compile inspection data and prepare detailed quality reports
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within quality control processes
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and a clean work environment at all times
  • Conduct quality testing in a manner that does not disrupt production operations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience as an Inspection Technician or Quality Technician
  • Strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts
  • High level of visual acuity and attention to detail
  • Advanced organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience preparing reports and compiling data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and quality-related documentation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
