- Serve as the face of Goodwill at mobile donation drives, creating a positive experience for all donors.
- Work independently on-site for donation events (typically 6 hours) to receive, sort, and protect donated goods.
- Safely load, unload, and transport donations using a Goodwill box truck or vehicle as assigned.
- Deliver donations to appropriate facilities and assist with proper routing and documentation.
- Ensure safety standards are followed and maintain a clean, organized donation area throughout the event.
- Greet and thank donors warmly while accepting donations at off-site locations.
- Provide world class customer service and represent Goodwill’s mission positively in the community.
- Unload donations at receiving sites and ensure items are routed correctly (retail, salvage, recycling, etc.).
- Maintain accurate daily donor logs and donation intake records.
- Operate company vehicle, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment after proper training.
- Follow all safety and lifting guidelines; maintain cleanliness and order at mobile donation site.
- Communicate with store teams or logistics personnel to report donation volumes, issues, or delays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; donor-focused.
- Strong time management and self-direction in remote settings.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic problem-solving skills and situational judgment.
- Previous material handling or truck experience a plus.
