Compensation

$15.00 to $19.00 per hour. Commission structure pays you for every transaction processed, with retail sales associates able to earn up to 8% on transactions, potentially adding $7.76 per hour on top of hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of 6 months of management experience or 3rd key experience. The Assistant Store Manager is accountable for day‑to‑day store operations, promotes a customer‑centric environment, leads and develops store employees, recruits and retains talent, maximizes financial goals, and manages customer relations and satisfaction.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
• Assist in training of staff to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure asset protection procedures are followed.
• Maintain inventory control, property safety, and securing customer loans.
• Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentations, systems, and reporting.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain loan integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
• Communicate clearly with employees regarding store mission and profit objectives.
• Stay updated on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated supervisory ability.
• Ability to work with firearms and become certified if required.
• Available to assist customers on premises or retrieve items from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as requested.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Will work 40+ hours per week; hours based on business needs and not guaranteed.
• Computer literate with point‑of‑sale and office software experience.
• Strong multi‑tasking, detail‑oriented organizational, analytical skills.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Independent worker with minimal supervision.
• Excellent work ethic and business sense.
