PBX Operator

Marriott seeks a PBX Operator for our Butler Service Desk supporting a global hospitality brand. In this front-line role, you will manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls, promptly routing guests to the right services and responding to butler and VIP requests with warmth and professionalism. You'll log requests in hotel systems, coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and front office, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you maintain Marriott service standards, protect guest privacy, and contribute to a culture of respect, teamwork, and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate PBX/telephone switchboard and manage inbound and outbound calls
• Respond to and route butler and VIP guest requests promptly and accurately
• Log and track guest requests in hotel or property management systems
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, front office, and other teams
• Provide courteous, professional communication aligned with Marriott standards
• Protect guest privacy and handle sensitive information discreetly
• Monitor service follow-up to ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction
• Support issue escalation and communicate service delays when needed
• Assist with basic reservations, wake-up calls, and information inquiries
• Contribute to a team-focused, people-first culture and ongoing process improvement
