Engineering Coordinator
Are you a jack of all trades, if so, our Engineering Coordinator role will allow you to lead and train engineering and landscape team members in all technical and non-technical areas. This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
The targeted compensation wage for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $25-27/hr the position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Collection.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain complete knowledge of resort fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems.
- Respond promptly to all guest requests.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Log and communicate essential information in engineering logs.
- Assign and delegate work orders promptly in coordination with technicians.
- Coordinate with approved vendors for invoicing, scheduling, and contracted pricing.
- Manage inventory control for all engineering areas, including setting and maintaining pars.
- Order and research parts for best pricing, quality, and delivery times.
- Manage departmental expenses for engineering and security.
- Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) process and documentation.
- Schedule shifts for the engineering department.
- Maintain up-to-date O&M manuals for all equipment.
- Keep current business licenses and insurance certifications for all contractors.
- Demonstrate strong people skills; proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
- Engineering experience preferred; parts knowledge a plus.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in administration or project management, preferably within a hotel or property management environment
- High school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
