We are seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Senior Structural Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex structural engineering projects. In this role, you will oversee projects from proposal through construction, serving as the primary technical lead and trusted client advisor while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will manage project scope, financial performance, technical design, and multidisciplinary project teams while mentoring engineers and designers. You will also support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client relationships, and strategic growth initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.
- Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completion
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and overall project performance
- Serve as the primary client contact and trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle
- Forecast workloads and coordinate staffing to support project delivery
- Monitor project financial performance, including billing, work-in-progress, accounts receivable, and profitability
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
- Lead the structural design of commercial, institutional, industrial, and specialty building projects
- Prepare and review structural calculations, engineering reports, specifications, plans, and construction documents
- Analyze reports, drawings, models, testing data, and site information to develop practical engineering solutions
- Develop construction cost estimates and participate in project scoping and pricing
- Utilize structural analysis, modeling, and engineering software to prepare technical deliverables
- Review technical work prepared by project team members to ensure accuracy and quality
- Direct and mentor engineers, designers, and Revit modelers throughout project execution
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to produce high-quality construction documents
- Conduct construction site visits to monitor progress and verify compliance with contract documents
- Provide contract administration support throughout design and construction phases
- Ensure compliance with company quality management procedures and engineering standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and project partners
- Assist Principals and leadership with proposals, project scoping, pricing strategies, and business development initiatives
- Participate in client presentations, project interviews, and marketing activities
