Accounting Manager

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join a team in Western Colorado. Near Aspen/Vail/Dunn Valley. Qualified candidates with 4+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $86,000 to $110,000 per year. Hybrid Position.

Job Description:

• Prepare monthly financial statements for review by CFO and management team
• Conduct thorough reviews and audits of financial statements
• Reconcile monthly statements to ensure accuracy
• Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the finance team
• Handle payroll processing, leveraging Vantagepoint and reconcile payroll data with financial records
• Full cycle month-end close
• Back up for daily functions (AP/AR/Billing) and managing team of 2
• Capability to streamline ERP systems and implement new systems/processes, have

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• Experience streamlining ERP systems, specifically Vantagepoint (preferred)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with payroll processing and filing
• Adaptability to new software tools
• Ability to communicate effectively, problem solver, go getter
