- Responsible for the effective implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the EMR system.
- Ensure the EMR system meets the needs of healthcare providers and supports efficient and accurate patient care.
- Participate in on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours and weekend support for emergent issues.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the functionality and performance of the EMR system.
- Provide comprehensive end‑user support, including troubleshooting system issues and training users.
- Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to ensure timely application of system patches and upgrades.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements and address system‑related concerns.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute the implementation of the EMR system.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the EMR system.
- Proven experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems in a healthcare setting.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, and terminology.
- Proficiency in system configuration, optimization, and customization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with EMR implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Meaningful Use) and industry standards.
- 2-3 Years of relevant experience
- Willingness to work occasional night and weekends
