Executive Director

Community Health Services (CHS) is seeking an inspiring, community-minded Executive Director to lead our $1.41M non-profit safety-net clinic in Aspen, Colorado. Operating since 1971, CHS delivers low-cost reproductive, preventive, prenatal, and oral healthcare to diverse mountain communities across Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield counties.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Drive an inclusive, client-centered culture and execute data-informed annual and long-range planning.
• Fiscal Management:
  Oversee a $1.41M budget, medical billing models, grant revenues, and community fundraising.
• Team Development:
  Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing clinical and administrative team.
• Community Alliances:
  Serve as the public face of CHS, braiding service resources with regional health departments and hospital networks.
• Board Relations:
  Report directly to the Board Chair and collaborate on fundraising initiatives.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred, e.g. MSN, DNP, PA, MHA, MPH, MBA or other commensurate degree preferred).
• Experience:
  
  1–3 years in clinical healthcare setting AND 3+ years of senior executive leadership in healthcare and/or nonprofits.
• Skills:
  
  Strong financial acumen, board governance background, and stellar communication skills.
• Plus:
  Bilingual (Spanish) and local community-building experience desired.

• Competitive Pay: $130,000 – $165,000 per annum.
