Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Float Nurse position in Outpatient Clinics, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic setting with float responsibilities across multiple specialty departments,

• Specialty areas include Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Primary Care, Rheumatology, After-Hours Care, and a satellite clinic,

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 32 hours per week,

• Flexibility to float between all outpatient clinic locations is required,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS,

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred,

• Ability to safely work at high altitude (approximately 8,000 ft elevation),

• 2 years of PCU, ICU/CCU, or ED experience preferred,

• TNCC certification preferred,

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred,

Additional Information

• Provides professional nursing care and administrative support functions across multiple outpatient specialty clinics,

• Must be competent to function as the primary nurse with minimal supervision,

• This position is located at approximately 8,000 ft elevation - candidates must be healthy enough to safely function in a low-oxygen environment,

• No RTO (time off requests) will be accepted for this assignment,

• Housing in the immediate area is very limited and expensive; surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs are recommended alternatives for more affordable options,
