Travel Registered Nurse (RN) PCU
Job Summary:
As a Travel RN working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide care for patients who require intermediate care, monitoring, and treatment. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and administer medications.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with procedures such as insertion of IV lines and catheters.
- Educate patients and their families on proper care and post‑discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or similar setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
