MED SURG REGISTERED NURSE — ASPEN, COLORADO

We're looking for a Med Surg / Ortho RN who wants to spend a couple of years (or more, we won't stop you) building serious clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment — while living the Aspen life at a fraction of the cost.

You'll work on our Patient Care Unit as a primary RN in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that also happens to be a Level III Trauma Center with 4 ORs, including a dedicated ortho and ortho trauma program. Patients fly in from all over the country (seriously, Florida included) for hip and knee work through the affiliated, nationally recognized ortho program.

Translation: you'll see real variety, real acuity, and build a resume that opens doors anywhere.

Base pay: $40 - $60/hour, based on experience

Shift differentials on top of base pay:

• Weekday nights: +$6/hour

Quick napkin math: at $50/hour, three 12s a week nets you roughly $7,200/month before differentials.

Subsidized employee housing is offered at 25% of your gross monthly income — for up to 2 years while you get settled and find your own place in the valley.

Using that napkin math above ($7,200/month), your rent lands around $1,800/month. For a brand-new, luxury 1-2 bedroom unit that normally rents for $3,500+.
