Registered Nurse - Perinatal
Location:

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in the perinatal unit, working closely with patients in labor and delivery, providing essential care, monitoring fetal heart rates, and delivering critical support to mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications and implement care plans as directed.
- Provide education and support to mothers and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification.
- STABLE Program - STABLE Learner (STABLE) certification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN is required.
- Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience with EPIC is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
