Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) - Days, 12 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 12 hour shifts.

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in perinatal nursing and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to perinatal patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes in maternal and fetal conditions.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical interventions.
• Educate patients and families on maternal and infant health topics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which may be obtained upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate certification (FHM) from Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
• The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner certification (STABLE).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
